SPOTTED! Both Tammy Rivera & Dej Loaf were seen in this Diesel AW17 denim jacket retailing at $398.00. Who do you think rocked it best ? I love how Dej Loaf was styled in this complete look. She is giving me a retro feel with her golden bob.. Tammy Rivera on the other hand looks all over the place. I hate everything about her look from the Chanel belt to the electric pink lipstick, she made this whole ensemble look very cheap. Simplicity is key!

Another fashion week has come and gone, and I can’t be more pleased with the outcome this season. Designers bought the drama the theatrics and beautiful silhouettes. sequins

Monse Maison

Love these silhouettes at the Monse Maison show. Monse was inspired by collegiate wear and sports uniforms. Bold colors, stripes, denim

Naeem Khan

Helmut Lang

This whole collect was beautifully executed. I enjoyed the sheer silhouettes and the abstract looking bralette. This show was more like an art show than a fashion show, every look was superb.

Laquan Smith

Laquan Smith brought us back to high school with his presentation. Lots of beautiful plaid pleated skirts, thigh high boots, fishnets & camo sets.

Ralph Lauren

Normally designers would present their SS18 line but Ralph chose the See now, Buy now method. Ralph Lauren always executes classic pieces at all his shows. He debuted his Menswear FW17 collection at his own garage in Bedford, NY. Ralph give us an array of gingham suits, leather biker jackets, jacquard knit sweaters and satin slips.

Cushnie et Ocho

Frida Kahlo was the inspiration behind Cushnie et Och. Lots of slinky slip dresses, corset pieces, and airy silhouettes. Loved these peachy oranges tones.

Jeremy Scott

Always bring us something different to the runway

Brandon Maxwell

Oscar de La Renta

Fenty X Puma

Rihanna stole the show with her moto cross fused surfer, athelic gear. Her show was full of leather, cropped pieces, windbreakers, & heels flip flops.

Adam Selman

Ulla Johnson

Assembly New York

Tom Ford

Naeem Khan

Naeem Khan is never one for subtlety, and this season was about pumping up the volume even more on his opulent designs.

Helmut Lang

Lang is beloved for his minimalism, for making luxury items out of everyday staples, for a unisex approach to dressing, and for his fetish-y streak. You can guess which aspect Oliver was interested in. Yes, there was some attractive streamlined tailoring, and yes, again, there was a swanky black parka, and a baby pink one, as well. But what there was in abundance was kink: asymmetric bras and daring peekaboo harnesses, rearless pants suspended from the waistband like garters, leather codpieces, and strappy BDSM gear. Girls and boys both carried or wore patent bags that unzipped to create old-fashioned, hugely oversize brassieres.

Rihanna is already stealing NYFW’s spotlight with her Fenty X Puma SS18 collection schedule to show this week and her new beauty line launch. Rihanna’s highly anticipated makeup line Fenty Beauty just dropped and of course, she did not disappoint.

People can’t stop raving about this “new generation of beauty.”  Rihanna was very keen on creating a makeup line that worked for all women. Rihanna’s collection includes 40 shade liquid foundations, four highlighter duos, 30 shades of stick cream that contour, blotting sheets, and one lip gloss shade. Once I saw the commercial I just knew I want the lip gloss. I always have a hard time finding a gloss the doesn’t look nude or pink on my lips. I absolutely love this lip gloss, it doesn’t go on too glossy and the applicator is very soft. This gloss also has a peachy smell and goes on super smooth. You can get Fenty Beauty at Sephora and Fenty

Last weekend I had the pleasure of attending Jay Z’s 2-day annual music festival. Since I am a loyal customer of Tidal and Sprint I received two tickets for free 99! YOU KNOW I WAS HYPED AF! This was a huge festival equipped with a Ferris wheel, photo booths, food, prizes and an endless supply of Budweiser beer. There were multiple stages and over 50 artists from different genres selected personally by Jay Z to perform.

Walking into the festival was a little overwhelming with the large crowds and arrows pointing you in the wrong direction. Not to mention how badly it was pouring. Luckily I knew there would be heavy rain so I purchased a poncho. I was elated to see my beautiful soul Sista Solange perform, pouring rain and all. She sang all my favorites songs such as “Losing You,” & “Tony”. I missed J. Cole’s performance because my friends couldn’t handle the rain which was understandable. We ended the night at a fancy Cuban restaurant called Alma de Cuba. I had the delicious “Vaca Frita,” which is a skirt steak with white rice and black beans.

In the morning we had breakfast at Denny’s then headed to the festival around 2:30. I was super thankful that it didn’t rain as much on Sunday as it did on Saturday. At the festival, I saw Tiwa Savage, Pusha T, 21 Savage, Chainsmokers and the greatest rapper of all time Jay Z perform. Mr. Carter ended the night with an 1 hour and 30 min set. After we thought he ended his set with a tribute to Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington, he surprised everyone by popping up at a completely different stage to close the night with Philly’s very own Meek Mills.

Made in America was my first festival and it was an amazing experience. I would defiantly go to this festival again. Even in the rain…..maybe not. HEHE. Take a look below to view some flicks!

Please don’t ask, “why did I wear white sneakers?”

Autumn is one of my favorite seasons. This is the season where you can really style up your looks with layering pieces and over accessorizing. Fall is also a great excuse to pull out cool weather staples like over sized cardigans and over the knee boots. I am so ready for this change of weather!!!! Here are my 4 must have items for this fall.

Stripes were very popular during the summer and they’re a great transitional piece for the fall. We’re seeing a wide variety of stripe on stripe ensembles which I am loving. Everyone should have some stripes incorporated into their wardrobe this season, whether its bold stripes or a classic pinstripe try it out this season.

Who doesn’t want to give themselves a little lift in the height department and still remain comfortable. A cool play on sneaker wedges, platform sneakers gives us a flash of nostalgia while still being fashion forward.

Stella McCartney $695  *MAJOR SPLURGE*

Vans Old Skool Platform Sneaker $64.95

Dolce Vita Yana Platform Sneakers $125.00

People just can’t seem to get enough of fanny packs especially since Gucci introduced their version of them. Fanny packs are very stylish depending on how you rock it. These sporty bags are super convenient if you don’t want to carry anything on your shoulders or back. This fashionable accessory looks super cute on the fellas.

I have an infatuation with anything cropped…..except for jeans since they always look like high waters on me. Other than that my relationship with cropped items has been superb. Cropped jackets can bring that sexiness factor to a look and still have a masculine vibe as well.

#BISHSTOLEMYLOOK Basketball wives star Malaysia Pargo & rapper Remy Ma wore this Dsquared2 floral bodysuit retailing at $280. Who do you think rocked it better? Love the fit on both ladies just don’t fully agree with the styling of either. This matching floral leather jacket & shoes was a horrible styling choice for Remy Ma. Remy’s makeup looks very simplistic and natural which I like. I’m not sure Malaysia thought black underwear was the best option for this nude body suit. Love the Jennifer Le crystal boots,  if Malaysia wore flesh tone underwear I think this look would have worked better. Thoughts?

The MTV Video Music Awards was the past Sunday and it was not the best award show. The Vanguard award went to Pink and it was well deserved! Pink is always pushing the envelope when it comes to her music. Katy Perry was the host of the night which was probably the main reason why the show was so boring. Katy Perry presented us with lame political and appropriation jokes. She was just a bad host from beginning to end. Did I forget to mention how beautiful  Pink’s acceptance speech was, which was dedicated to her daughter. I almost teared up! We can’t forget all the entertainers who showed out on the red carpet. There were a few favorites such as Cardi B, Teyana Taylor, Yara Shahidi & Nicki Minaj.

Take a look Below.

Yara Shahidi looked gorgous in the Zimmermann gown. She was one of my top looks. Styled by Jason Bolden.

Teyana Taylor was giving me vintage Janet Jackson vibes last night which I loved! She wore Rick Owen pants. Paris Jackson looked refreshing and youthful in this couture Dior gown. Jasmine Sanders looked like a barbie doll in this Moschino look.

I loved Hailee Steinfeld in this Versace pleated gown. Nicki Minaj looked beautiful in her two tone blonde and rose gold 80 inche hair.  I loved this Atsuko Kudo latex bodice and pant set, just not a fan of the camo toe. Christian Milian gave us simple but sexy vibes in this Dennis Basso FW17 gunmetal gown.

I loved this Monique Huilier lilac gown on Lorde, it was an unexpected look from the singer. This wa a very daring look for Demi Lovato and I am glad she chose this Zuhair Murad look, I just wish the pant wasn’t so long. Cardi B looked elegant in this custom Christian Siriano jumpsuit, love the added cone bra.

The was something a little off with this Yanina Couture gown wore by Vanessa Ann Hudgens, maybe if it was a shorter version. Bebe Rexha looked very sexy but expected in this Labour Joisie gown. I actually loved this Stepane Rolland gown on Katy Perry.

Let’s not forget our men of the night. Shawn Mendes looking real smooth in this navy Armani suit. Big congratulation to Kendrick Lamar so his six wins for the night. He looked very comfortable in his Prada suit & Nike sneakers. Another congratulations to Lil Uzi Vert on his win for the night.

Machine Gun Kelly was one of the best dressed men of the night, in this Thom Browne jacket and pant.

Take a look at some of the cute couples on the Vmas red carpet.
