So I have been designing for as long as I can remember. I started in high school (Fashion Industries) drawing on everything and luckily my HS had majors in Art, Merchandising & my major Fashion Design. I attend Buffalo State college for Fashion Merchandising. I was able to showcase a few of my garments in multiple shows run by students and it was amazing. After graduation I was focused on getting a job in the industry and making enough money to pay my rent and bills. Now 2 years later I have this WHAT IS NEXT feeling. I have been putting my sewing on hold a lot….just because I feel like I am not the greatest at it. I have been making bow ties since 2011 and continued with that. I currently sale my Bow ties on Etsy.com. Unfortunately I have been going back & forth with myself for a while. Trying to figure if I should going back to creating garments. I had a blast doing it, my only issue was the amount of time spend on creating a garment & making sure it fits perfectly……let’s not forger $$$$………. I also wouldn’t sell anything that doesn’t look or fit well. Lately, I have been seeing a lot of young new designer making their mark in the design world…..and it has inspired me to continue to do what I love. I may not have celebs rocking my pieces but HEY you never know what can occur. I want to keep pushing myself to my full potential. I don’t see myself working for ANYONE but MYSELF and that is how I want to keep my mindset for NOW ON! I have to continue to create because that is me and it is what defines me. I have so many ideas I want to try out no matter what the outcome is….I know I will be over all HAPPY. I will continue to work on my blogging and styling dreams as well. Check out some of my current & previous work. 🙂
Spring is the perfect time to rock your denim pieces. I love an all over denim outfit, especially with a bold red lip. I purchased these Denim Open Toe Triple Straps shoes that I am so in LOVEEEE with from UrbanOG.com. A GREAT steal at only $30.00. To my surprise they’re super comfy….won’t find cheap shoes like that everywhere. I paired the look with my favorite ripped boyfriend denim jeans from Urban Outfitters retailing at $79.00. Unfortunately I didn’t take a minute to snap a full body picture showing off this cute mustard low cut Zara body suit retailing at $33.00. Hope you enjoy!
I love having a causal look but still dressing it up with items that make the look more stylish. I also like to add a printed bag to jazz up the look too. Sneakers are also cool to wear with a fitted dress.
NYC’s weather is starting to blossom into something real NICEEEE. I didn’t waste my nice Sunday in the house this week. I did all my cleaning in the AM then headed to a Roof Top Day party with friends. It was great to hang outside while sipping a nice cool drink. These hot Spring days are having me itching for the Summer to come already! I was able to snap some pictures on my ride home. I wore a basic long sleeve American Apparel crop top, with an olive brownish pant from H&M, a F21 grey distress denim jacket…purchased back in 2012 and a pair of very comfy Sam Edelman wooden lace up booties. Hope you enjoy!

This past week I took a Slaycation to the Bahamas for one of my best friends birthday. 5 days & 4 nights just wasn’t enough time. The weather was soooo amazing I didn’t want to come back to NYC. We stayed at the Atlantis which was my first time staying at a resort. I went to the casino and only spent $5…I won $2…LOL I wasn’t trying to lose any of my money. The water park was so much fun I felt like a little kid again….scraping up my elbows & knee. It was definitely worth it! The Bohemian people were so friendly & welcoming…..sometimes a little too friendly (If you get what i’m saying). The water was so clear NEVER seen water so blue! I seen all kinds of marine life while snorkeling…once I heard there was a stingray I WAS OUT OF THERE!!!!!! We partied it up on a cruise that took us around Paradise island…seeing all the extravagant mansions. This trip was so amazing!! Now back to working my 9-6 and blogging my life away. This trip gave me more motivation to travel the world and continue to grind so I that can enjoy my life. Hope you enjoy the pictures below of my SLAYCATION!
I try my best to stay away from dark colors during the Spring/Summer seasons but sometimes I can’t help myself. If you love wearing dark tones all year round just lighten it up with bright colors and airy fabrics. Color bags and ripped denim always work too. I love these multi colored blocked heel shoes by Dsquare, wish they were in my budget. Denim heels are a must have this spring. I forecast this season will be all about the denim! 👖
This past Sunday was the iHeatRadio Music awards and there were many celebs that looked great and some not so much. The red carpet had a lot of jumpsuits, sequin pieces and 2 piece suits. There were also a lot of boobies & flawless skin peeping out. See below some of my comments for the night.
Jhene Aiko looked cute in this 70’s inspired flare collared jumpsuit. I love Megan Good in this House of CB jumpsuit rocking her new short duo. I wasn’t fully in love with this black & white Alexander McQueen suit on Demi.
More beauties rocked the carpet last night. Selena Gomez wore this cut out orange Mulger jumpsuit…which I loved! Zendaya wore a red velvet Hadier Akermann suit, love the hairstyle with the look. Serayah wore a Nicolas Jebran dress which looked chic just wasn’t a fan of the hair color choice.
The men of the night looked very cool & chilled. Wasn’t a huge fan of Jason Derulo look for the night. Loved Big Sean’s outfit he was giving me a swaggy western era. Chis Brown showed up with a nice sleek hairstyle and all white sweat suit, looks super comfy.
These ladies in Sequin was also killing it for the night. Taylor Swift took home a ton of awards tonight and looked fabulous in this Saint Laurent all sequined belted halter jumpsuit, one of my faves. Keke Palmer keeping up with her edgy new look with this cute electric blue sequined halter dress by Michael Kors, with a bold purple lip. Meghan Trainor also wore a beautiful form fitting sequined piece by Donna Karen.
My least favorite looks of the night were Iggy Azalea, Karruche and Kat Graham. I love the high waist trouser but not so much the one shoulder graphic top with it. Not a fan of Karruche’s red leather Thomas Wylde dress with the Gucci heels. I love this Proenza Schouler piece but not on Kat Graham.
