Hey, Y’all!!!! Happy Monday! Hope your weekend was full of laughs, joy & excitement. Unfortunately, I worked all weekend but I did get to enjoy some shimmers of sunshine. It’s still very chilly in New York but I’ll take a cool breeze over snowflakes any day. I can not wait to experience some real Spring weather.
I wanted to highlight these beloved track pants that I purchased from Zara, which I grabbed on sale for $30 bucks. I do love a good sale, especially from Zara. This streetwear trend has definitely taken over & now we are seeing more trousers with the stripe on the side seam.
I love a good pant, I get so tired of stuffing my body into jeans lol, so a looser pant is a great switch up. Track pants are even acceptable in some workplaces, and I’m all for this evolution.
Check out my mini photoshoot at Bryant Park.

Can we say spring has semi begun in New York City? Aside from the very random snow storm on Monday. I’ve been a bit indecisive or whether to purchase white booties or white mules. Even though spring is here it’s totally acceptable to wear a fashionable bootie on a 65-degree day. At least I think so. Here are a few affordable to semi-affordable white booties & mules. Which would you buy?

Are we here for this so-called “ugly” sneaker trend? I’m a little intrigued with the design of a few of these sneakers. What’s really the gag with these shoes anyway? Why are we obsessed with this retro/futuristic silhouette? From Kanye West to Versace every designer is on board with this “ugly” trend.
I have to be honest, when I first saw how big this trend was, I didn’t like any of the sneakers. The Balenciaga sneakers started to grow on me the more they overflooded my news feeds. The Balenciaga Triple S and the Louis Vuitton Archlight sneakers are my favorite “Ugly” sneaker currently. It could be the chunky silhouette or the 90s nostalgia of these sneakers that cultivated my attention. The fact of the manner is you won’t see me running to the stores to cop these bad boys though. My pockets can’t take the damage yet.
The real question is would we rock these if they were Scekhers or FUBU ? Maybe we would be if a mega-celebrity was photoed rocking a pair. Are we invested in these because of the brand or the actual design?
Below are a few celebs pictured with some of these popular sneakers. You can also find links to retailers with knock-off Balenciagas for sell.

Happy April Loves! Sunday, April 1st was Resurrection Sunday! He has risen!! I celebrated my Easter Sunday with a 10am church service at Renaissance Church in Harlem. After church, I went to brunch at Chocolat with one of my best friends Asia.
It was a beautiful Easter Sunday, the sun was out & there was a lite breeze in the air. April will mark a big time in my life. Preparation for a BIG JUMP. I am jumping into my passionate, jumping into my goals, jumping into faith. COMPLETELY. I leave all doubt in March & I will not be turning back. I will be devoting more of my time on my blog, and curating much more content!
I didn’t have an Easter Sunday outfit planned out like I normally do. I was able to go into my wardrobe & pull out my cherished Polo Ralph Lauren pants & lilac button up. With my (adds a bit of sophistication to any fit), Boohoo wrap coat & BCBG generation nude heels.
Top & Pants: Polo Ralph Lauren
Shoe: BCBG Generation

Lala Anthony hit the streets of NYC yesterday rocking a Camel teddy coat by Mistress Rocks. Retailing at $110. I’ve been searching for an oversized teddy for a while now and I think I just found the perfect one. I swear I love nothing more than when celebs rock items that I can afford. It gives me a hope that one day I too can have my Dior bag next to my basic Zara back.
