This past Sunday was the BET Awards, and whats the BET without a few mishaps. Of course there were some technical difficulties, but what show is perfect? People, including myself don’t give the BET Awards the proper credit it deserves. People view the BET awards show as a joke. We need to recognize that BET is one of the only networks that celebrates our culture which isn’t being celebrated everywhere else as it should be. I have been very appreciative of the BET Network these last couple of years. Let’s get straight into the looks for the night.

Congratulations to Chance the Rapper for receiving BET’s Humanitarian Award, which he stated something along the lines of, “Feels so early to be receiving this award but my God makes no mistakes” can I get a AMEN! Not sure who he was wearing but he looked great in his high socks and Gucci loafers.  French Montana wore this Gucci coat and John Elliott denim jeans, and Balenciaga shoes. Demetrius Shipp Jr in this Zegna suit and Jimmy Choo loafers. Style by Wayman and Micah.

Chloe and Halle looked beautiful in these Ms Min gowns and Rodarte heels, Styled By Zerina Akers. Eva Marcille was very bohemian chic is this Filly Boo embroidered dress. Styled by Seannita Parmer and Ashanti Mozelle.

My #WOKE goals Yara Shahidi looked refreshing in this Jonathan Simkhai denim piece Styled by Jason Bolden. Love this Aaliyah inspired look that Ryan Destiny portrayed She wore a Misbhv top & denim. Styled by Scot Louie. Karruche Tran gave us a fun look rocking this Gareth Pugh dress.

Lala looked beautiful in this Thai Nquyen Atellier. Styled by Maeve Reilly. Congratulation to Remy Ma for winning, Best Female Rapper, wasn’t feeling this blue fringe dress by Karen Sabag on her. Styled by Brian and Glam/ @AGuyandAGurl. Issa Rae looked cute in slim in this Balmain Cardigan, styled by Ayanna.

Draya Michele looked very natural and elegant in this yellow Eli Saab, styled by Wayman and Micah. Cardi B stole the red carpet in this red Givenchy suit, styled by Kollin Carter. I liked Dascha Polanco white couture suit by Bishme R. Cromartie, styled by Ashley Sean Thomas.

These three were my least favorite, Amber Rose in this green blazer dress. Blac Chyna in this Michael Costello. Justine Skye in The Blonds SS17 dress, which she managed to look radiant in.

Letoya Luckett looked amazing in this floral dress with leather trimming by Candice Cuoco Styled by Bryon Javar. Sevyn Streeter looked great in this Yousef Al Jasmi gown styled by Deonte Nash. Logan Browning looked so pretty and playful in this Lei Lou by Alex dress.

Favorite Couples of the night were Gucci Mane & Keyshia Kaori / Big Sean & Jhene Aiko Gucci Mane looked very Dapper in this Gucci suit his Fiance looked beautiful  sheer black gown. Love Big Sean is this Bally velour track suit and Jhene Aiko in this For Restless Sleepers dress. Both styled by Ade Samuel.

On the Red Carpet of 59th Annual Grammy Award

The 59th Annual Grammy Awards was this past Sunday, & the stars came out to SLAY. As celebs were walking the Red Carpet I was in awe of all the amazing looks. Designers from Givenchy, Gucci, Armani Privé, to Balmain, & Tom were seen on the Carpet. Take a look below to see all my top looks of the night.

Beyoncé & her bundles of Joy ❤
Starting off with the glowing Beyoncé, debuting Peter Dunn’s collection. She gave us a beautiful performance dedicated to Mother’s. She sung two of my favorite track off of Lemonade, “Love Drought” & “Sandcastles.”

Peter Dunn Sequined Gown.

Nick Jonas & Chance the RapperLove this Balmain studded blazer on Nick Jones, he is really stepping up his fashion swag. Chance the Rapper looks great in this Thowe Brown, staying true himself. This unsigned rapper also took home three Grammy awards. CONGRATULATIONS CHANCE!

Nicole Trunfio, Camila Cabello & Lea MicheleI loved model Nicole Trunfio in this burgundy lace Zuhair Murad gown. She was giving me the perfect amount of sexy but not over doing it. Newly solo singer Camila Cabello looked stunning in this floral embroidered Miri Couture gown. Lea Michele wore this beautiful floral embellished Roberto Cavalli two piece set.

Tinashe & Paris JacksonTinashe looked cute in this black satin Alexander Wang gown, wish she glammed the look up a little more. Paris Jackson looked awesome in this multi-hued Balmain cutout gown with double slit.

Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez & AdeleKaty Perry wore a sequined Tom Ford gown with feather. This outfit was a little too excessive for me. I didn’t like this Tom Ford piece at all for the Grammy’s, I do however adore her new glam look. Jennifer Lopez looked beautiful as always, she rocked a pink Ralph & Russo slit ethereal neckline gown. At first the color of this gown wasn’t appealing but it grew on me & I love it. Adele wore this elegant green polka dot long sleeve Givenchy gown. Wasn’t a big fan of this look but she does look radiant.

Laverne Cox, Solange & HalseyLaverne Cox was serving up sex kitty in this leather Bryan Hearns gown with chain details. Solange looked like a beautiful sculpture in this gold Gucci gown. Hasley  was giving me TLC ‘Creep’ vibes in this blue Christian Wijnants set, Loved it.

SolangeImage result for solange grammysDuring the Grammy’s Solange also wore this beautiful Iris Van Herpen creation. Literally a walk piece of art.

Maren Morris, Demi Lovato & Carrie Underwood

Loved this purple lace Michael Costello dress on Country singer Maren. Demi looks soooo sexy in this Julien MacDonald gown, adore her new edgy look. Love this Elie Madi embellished gown, but on Carrie Underwood the dress looked a bit overwhelming.

Lady Gaga, Rihanna & Chrissy Tegan

Lady Gaga brought back her rocker sexy side at the Grammy’s. Rocking a cropped jacket & chain detailed shorts by Alex Ulichny. Rihanna had one of my favorite looks of course. Rih Rih wore a sexy Armani Privé two piece set, love the exaggerated skirt. She was giving me Grammy’s Rihanna era 2013 with her long orange hair & beach waves. I adored Chrissy Tegan in this Robert Cavalli gown !!!!! I live for the sexy milf vibes!!!!

2016 MTV Video Music Awards

It was All About Badgal RiRi !!!!! We know we never miss a Rihanna video, this award was well deserved!!!! She performed in four set rocking four bad ass looks. My favorite was the bashment scene !!! To make the night perfect Rihanna rocked a Alexandre Vauthire couture dress has Drake presented her with the Michael Jackson Vanguard award!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. Bubble Gum Pink goddess: Hood By Air body suit, Comme des Garcons pink fuzzy sneakers and Cutler & Gross Classic Jackie O Shades   2. Dance Hall Queen: Adam Selman t-shirt backwards, a Rosamosario Fur-Trimmed Bra & Alexandre Vauthier trousers. 3.Gothic Trap: Vetement gloves and waist high boots.

Queen Beyonce gave us a heart stopping performance and graced us with these three bold looks.  A YolanCrus gown lace and sheer frock with embellished appliqué flowers. A golden Elie Saab  jumpsuit and a sheer crystallize feathered gown by Francesco Scognamiglio.

Worst dress goes to Rita Ora and Cassie. Rita wore Marc Jacob and Cassie wore a Balmain blazer and Gucci high waist pants. Too costume looking for my taste, Cassie could have wore a different color wig. Rita leather jacket sheer feather dress was too much paired together.

Loved these dapper man that Slayed in their fits. Ty Dolla $ign,Jidenna,  and Future

This year marked 15 yrs since Aaliyah has past and Fabulous rep the same jersey she wore. That’s Love!!!!!!!!!!

Loved this Georges Chakra jumpsuit on Haley Baldwin ,  Love this Moschino 2 piece on Stella Maxwell & Tinshe looked bomb in the beautiful red Juan Carlos Obando set. ❤

Loved this wet look on Kim & this vintage John Galliano dress. Naomi always slay rocking this Michael Costello dress, adored her glittery red lips and Amber looked all about her business in this Tom Ford suit, classy but sexy.

SHIT IT DOWN!!!!! Rihanna ended the night in this beautiful custom green fringe jumpsuit by  Limpasse Boutique!!!

This Sunday was the BET awards and man was it full of surprises. The biggest surprise of the night was Beyonce gracing us all with a ground breaking performance of “FREEDOM,” with Kendrick Lamar. Beyonce wore a custom Julien MacDonald bodysuit covered in jet swarovski crystals. BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*I know they were soaked*

See some notable fashions below:

I loved Janelle Monae in this beautiful striped sequin Sass & Bide suit. She also did a TERRIFIC job with her Prince tribute.

Tara Shahidi wore a beautiful sequined Tracey Reese dress. Karrueche Tran wore a black button-front dress. Jasmine Sanders wore a mini black & white long sleeve dress. Meagan Good wore a  Lorena Sarbu cutout gown with a thigh-high slit.

Some dapper men of the night, Jesse Williams wore a simple black suit with white contrast. French Montana wore a chic mandarin collared white shirt with cream pants and matching boots. Morris Chestnut wore a burgundy suit with a think lapel.

Roci Diaz wore a Jovani jumpsuit which looked a lot like Naeem Khan jumpsuit on the runway FYI. Host Tracey Ellis Ross rocked this fitted snake skin vintage Thierry Mulger turtle neck dress. Tasha Smith wore a fun yellow printed jumpsuit which I loved.

My not so favorite looks of the night were Lisa Ray, Naturi Naughton and Eva Marcilla. Of course Lisa Ray wore an all white jumpsuit, which fit her like a glove. I don’t like that her bra is showing so much, but I do like Lisa’s choice of hairstyle and the lavender color. Naturi Nina Ricci dress is beautiful but I am not a fan of her hairstyle. Eva Marcille looked beautiful on the carpet but to me her dress was a little too short.

The CFDA (The Council of Fashion Designers of America) Awards was held this week at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. One of the most prominent events in the Fashion Industry. The CFDA awards acknowledges the outstanding contributions made to American fashion. Designer pave the way for unique silhouettes & allows people to express themselves in their own way ever season.  Here are a few looks that I loved on the red carpet on Monday.

First CONGRATULATIONS to Beyonce for winning this years “Style Icon” award. She wore head to toe Givenchy  & stole the show with her inspirational speech. Beyonce’s style has defiantly grown over the years. She deserves it!

Gabrielle Union  wore a high pony tail and a beautiful abstract Lela Rose gown. Love the allusion that this dress gives off.

Emily Ratajkowski rocked this simple black Jason Wu gown. I loved Sophia Sanchez de Betak look, wearing a vintage skirt with Dannijo jewelry.  Joan Smalls was giving me a Greek goddess feel in this beautiful Givenchy dress & wavy short bang hair style.

Shanina Shaik looked amazing in this Givenchy orange low cut pleated gown. Givenchy was clearly my favorite of the night.

Loved this Marc Jacobs F16 look on Adriana Lima. Reminds me of a sexy goth girl coming to SLAY us all, one pose at a time.

I love to follow these yearly award shows. I enjoy viewing the hits and misses on all the red carpets. The Billboard music awards is an honor presented to the top artist of the past year. This years list included Adele, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, The Weeknd and many more. Here are a few of the celebs that were seen on the red carpet.

Britney Spears looked a hot mess in this beautiful Fall 16 Reem Acra and these thigh high caged boots by Scutz.  She made this dress look…sad to say cheap. I love this dress but it didn’t flatter Britney’s shape and the boots were extra.

Ciara!!!! What can I say I am loving this look. This Fall 16 Philp Plein metallic low cut gown was made for Ciara. It looks great on her body. The side boobrs and legs out wasn’t too much for this event either. This was done just right! One of the best dressed on the carpet.

Ms. Kelly Rowland looks AMAZINGGGGGGG in this sheer embellished gown by Labour Joisie!!! Everything about this is beautiful to the hair pulled back to the natural make up. Effortless beauty indeed!!!

I wasn’t a fan of this look that Rihanna wore on the red carpet. This is a vintage 1988 Mugler button up dress, she paired it with custom Manolo Blahnik heels and a few diamond pieces. Needless to say Rihanna makes anything look good don’t you think? Love the hair and make up!

Laverne Cox looked gorgeous in this Michael Costello gown. You better POSE! She is working them angles RIGHT!

I honestly hate this look on Demi Lovato…..I don’t know who her stylist is but she needs someone else. The body suit by House of Cb was cute but paired with this tweed jacket and finger less gloves is a total disaster for me. The wide leg trousers aren’t doing anything for her. Her hair and make up was done nicely.

This Atelier Versace electric blue gown looked cute on Ariana Grande….but this pony tail needs to go I also wasn’t a fan of the black platform pumps she wore.

Zendayyyyyyyyaaaaaa !!!!! I love everything this girl wears!!!!!! This was simple and clean I just adore it this peach Calvin Klein two piece on her! She is so young this world is not ready for her SLAYAGE!

Here is RiRi killing it after her performance of “Love on The Brain,” in this vintage Mugler black piece and Selima Optique shade. Rihanna is such an style icon I love her!!!!!!!!
