Brunch season is almost over, so I’m out here trying to enjoy these last few warm days that God is blessing us with. I like to explore different locations when I’m looking for a brunch spot. Unlimited deals is what really catches my eye. After searching for an affordable brunch spot, I remembered passing by Crazy Annie’s in Washington Heights and decided to give that a try.
First thing that came to my mind was who would name their restaurant “Crazy Annie’s?” Clearly an insanely smart individual. The name “Crazy Annie’s” grabs hungry consumer’s attention like myself and tempts them to give it a try. Walking into Crazy Annie’ s was like a flashback to the 1960s. I ordered the chicken & waffles for $15 and the unlimited mimosas special for $16.95. I was severed three crispy chicken thighs, and a buttermilk fluffy waffle. I wasn’t a fan of the chipotle sauce that was served with my dish, but over all everything was superb. I couldn’t even finish all my chicken. I would most definitely recommend this place, the prices were also very affordable.
Happy Viewing xoxo

This past weekend I celebrated my friends 26th Birthday at Harlem’s “Ricardo’s Steakhouse.” I’ve been to Ricardo’s multiple times before and I always leave in total ecstasy. I decided not to be a “Regular Degular” Cardi B’s voice, and not get my usual Fettuccine Alfredo. Instead I opted for the “Ricardo’s Special Patter.” Which included a skirt steak, grilled pork chop, rice, beans, homemade mashed potatoes, and sweet plantains.
This entree was delicious and very fulling for just $26.00. I washed it down with a semi strong “Smoking Gun” for $12.00 which was made of Hennessy, orange juice, and splash of cranberry juice. I will always recommend Ricardo’s Steakhouse. I am highly pleased with the ambiance and the service, a great place for birthday dinners or a night out with Bae.
For dinner I wore a American Apparel burgundy long sleeve top, Paige denim jeans that I cut into shorts since they had a hole in them (innovative) and Public Desire thigh high peep toe boots. I accessorized my look with a chunky Aldo necklace, dollar store hoop earrings and an Urban Outfitter’s black tote.

Lolo’s Seafood Shack is located in Harlem on 116th & Frederick Douglass Boulevard. Seen a couple people post about this place so I decided to try it out. Since I am infatuated with coconut shrimp I ordered that and garlic fries. My order was only $10.00, which is awesome but I was a bit disappointed that I couldn’t order an extra side of shrimp. The coconut shrimp was satisfying…nothing to brag about. The garlic fries had a great kick to them, which made my meal worthwhile. Not too sure if I would go back to this place…..wasn’t pleased with the idea of paying for my meal before it was served to me. Reminded me more of a fast-food restaurant. Lolo’s seafood shack was vibrant and colorful which was appealing but not very spacious. Overall this restaurant is worth trying….at least once.

Once the snow melts and the flowers begin to bloom you know where to find me. Out searching for new restaurants & brunch spots to try out. What a random find this restaurant was, during my search on Instagram I came across this little spot called Punch. Punch is located in the lower east side of Manhattan & what caught my eye was the deal on drinks! This place was nice & intimate. The Waiters were very friendly & refilled my glass when needed. I give the food a B+ & please don’t get the grits.

In Love is not even the phrase I want to use to describe my feelings for this dish below. Ever since my friend had his Birthday dinner here I’ve been hooked. The Cajun Chicken, Shrimp, & Sausage pasta is my FAVORITEEE!!!!! There were so many tasty flavors in this pasta. This pasta beats out by far the Cajun pasta I had at Oceana in New Orleans, which is GREAT for me since it’s more accessible 🙂
If you knew better you’ll do better. Now Please Everyone Try Bourbon Street Out!!!!!
A few weeks ago, I was invited out to a restaurant called SLATE. I’m always down to try new places, so I was ecstatic to try SLATE out. Happy Hour is from 6 pm – 8 pm with $4/$6 drinks, really can’t beat that deal. I had my eyes on the ‘O.G. Sliders’ since my friend told me about this place; which by they way were really savory. This establishment came equipped with games like scrabble, connect four, pool, & ping pong; which are extra fun when intoxicated. Definitely a place worth trying out.
