Brunch Season is BACK!!!!! NYC has been seeing all four seasons all jammed packed in one month. A bit outrageous if you ask me but I didn’t let that stop me from getting my brunch on. This weekend I went out to Agave on Charles St. for brunch with two of my girlfriends. Agave is a beautiful intimate spot with a wide selection of entrees. Being my picky old self, I ordered the Skirt steak & eggs. My normal choice of alcoholic beverage is a chilled mimosa but the taste was a bit off so I opted for the margaritas. The food was tasty & cooked perfectly, I just need to step out of my element & try something I wouldn’t normally order. Anyone else is a picky eater?

Listen, your birthday comes around once a year so you better do it big! My last rendezvous for my birthday festivities was brunch at my favorite spot in Harlem. I closed out my Birthday week and 2017 with Brunch at Chocolat in Harlem, NY.
Chocolat’s food is always the BOMB so I knew they wouldn’t disappoint me. I ordered their Famous red velvet pancakes and fried chicken which was $25. This meal was very delectable along with my unlimited mimosas priced at $20 for 1.5 hours. I believed my sever had a crush on me because he was at our table like clockwork. Make sure if your ever in NYC to check them out.
A QUEEN was born on December 27th, 1991!!!! I am officially 26 years young can’t really believe it. I feel more focused, I feel more positive and I feel like I can attempt anything with enough confidence. I ended out my year with such a bang, it just has to be the best birthday ever! From my trip to DR to my birthday week of endless activities (more post coming soon). I am so ready to go into 2018 with a barrow of ideas and a positive mindset.
Unfortunately, my outfit wasn’t exactly what I planned but I definitely made it WERK! When I tell you I was livid that the place I ordered my fur from refunded my order! So I had to rock what I had. I dipped into my archives and wore my 2015 blueberry pimp Urban Outfitters fur. I rocked an uber sexy Mistress Rocks slinky slip dress, metallic Steve Madden heels & a sliver Top Shop gem clutch. I had dinner at STK which was soooooo delicious. I devoured my 10 oz steak & cheesy mac & cheese. STK was so superb I wish I could afford to have dinner every night there. Hey, a girl can dream.

In preparation for my 26th Birthday (12/27), I decided to take a mini girls trip to DR for 6 days & 5 nights. My vacation was AMAZING!! I still can’t get off from the high. The Majestic Mirage was everything plus more. Our Butler Samuel was always there for any questions and concerns we had and even had a surprise set up in my room. We went on three excursions for the price of $139. We traveled out to Alta Gracia to ride buggies. After that, we trooped through the forest to get to a natural lake. The water was freezing I didn’t do too much swimming. The view was breathtaking.
The food on the resort wasn’t the greatest but it wasn’t bad. Everything was very Americanized which wasn’t surprising. My favorite restaurants were the hibachi and steakhouse. The resort had two foam parties which were FREAKIN’ AWESOME! Every night around 9 pm the resort’s staff would have a performance. I really felt like I was at a dedicated concert for Rock n Roll artist. About three nights during our stay we went to the resorts hottest club called Coco Disco. This whole trip was such an awesome experience, I am so blessed to have shared it with my two best friends. ❤
I definitely recommend visiting DR at least once in your lifetime. The Majestic Mirage is also an A+ hotel.

Brunch season is almost over, so I’m out here trying to enjoy these last few warm days that God is blessing us with. I like to explore different locations when I’m looking for a brunch spot. Unlimited deals is what really catches my eye. After searching for an affordable brunch spot, I remembered passing by Crazy Annie’s in Washington Heights and decided to give that a try.
First thing that came to my mind was who would name their restaurant “Crazy Annie’s?” Clearly an insanely smart individual. The name “Crazy Annie’s” grabs hungry consumer’s attention like myself and tempts them to give it a try. Walking into Crazy Annie’ s was like a flashback to the 1960s. I ordered the chicken & waffles for $15 and the unlimited mimosas special for $16.95. I was severed three crispy chicken thighs, and a buttermilk fluffy waffle. I wasn’t a fan of the chipotle sauce that was served with my dish, but over all everything was superb. I couldn’t even finish all my chicken. I would most definitely recommend this place, the prices were also very affordable.
Happy Viewing xoxo

This past weekend I celebrated my friends 26th Birthday at Harlem’s “Ricardo’s Steakhouse.” I’ve been to Ricardo’s multiple times before and I always leave in total ecstasy. I decided not to be a “Regular Degular” Cardi B’s voice, and not get my usual Fettuccine Alfredo. Instead I opted for the “Ricardo’s Special Patter.” Which included a skirt steak, grilled pork chop, rice, beans, homemade mashed potatoes, and sweet plantains.
This entree was delicious and very fulling for just $26.00. I washed it down with a semi strong “Smoking Gun” for $12.00 which was made of Hennessy, orange juice, and splash of cranberry juice. I will always recommend Ricardo’s Steakhouse. I am highly pleased with the ambiance and the service, a great place for birthday dinners or a night out with Bae.
For dinner I wore a American Apparel burgundy long sleeve top, Paige denim jeans that I cut into shorts since they had a hole in them (innovative) and Public Desire thigh high peep toe boots. I accessorized my look with a chunky Aldo necklace, dollar store hoop earrings and an Urban Outfitter’s black tote.
