Hey, Y’all!!!! Happy Monday! Hope your weekend was full of laughs, joy & excitement. Unfortunately, I worked all weekend but I did get to enjoy some shimmers of sunshine. It’s still very chilly in New York but I’ll take a cool breeze over snowflakes any day. I can not wait to experience some real Spring weather.
I wanted to highlight these beloved track pants that I purchased from Zara, which I grabbed on sale for $30 bucks. I do love a good sale, especially from Zara. This streetwear trend has definitely taken over & now we are seeing more trousers with the stripe on the side seam.
I love a good pant, I get so tired of stuffing my body into jeans lol, so a looser pant is a great switch up. Track pants are even acceptable in some workplaces, and I’m all for this evolution.
Check out my mini photoshoot at Bryant Park.

Happy April Loves! Sunday, April 1st was Resurrection Sunday! He has risen!! I celebrated my Easter Sunday with a 10am church service at Renaissance Church in Harlem. After church, I went to brunch at Chocolat with one of my best friends Asia.
It was a beautiful Easter Sunday, the sun was out & there was a lite breeze in the air. April will mark a big time in my life. Preparation for a BIG JUMP. I am jumping into my passionate, jumping into my goals, jumping into faith. COMPLETELY. I leave all doubt in March & I will not be turning back. I will be devoting more of my time on my blog, and curating much more content!
I didn’t have an Easter Sunday outfit planned out like I normally do. I was able to go into my wardrobe & pull out my cherished Polo Ralph Lauren pants & lilac button up. With my (adds a bit of sophistication to any fit), Boohoo wrap coat & BCBG generation nude heels.
Top & Pants: Polo Ralph Lauren
Shoe: BCBG Generation
A QUEEN was born on December 27th, 1991!!!! I am officially 26 years young can’t really believe it. I feel more focused, I feel more positive and I feel like I can attempt anything with enough confidence. I ended out my year with such a bang, it just has to be the best birthday ever! From my trip to DR to my birthday week of endless activities (more post coming soon). I am so ready to go into 2018 with a barrow of ideas and a positive mindset.
Unfortunately, my outfit wasn’t exactly what I planned but I definitely made it WERK! When I tell you I was livid that the place I ordered my fur from refunded my order! So I had to rock what I had. I dipped into my archives and wore my 2015 blueberry pimp Urban Outfitters fur. I rocked an uber sexy Mistress Rocks slinky slip dress, metallic Steve Madden heels & a sliver Top Shop gem clutch. I had dinner at STK which was soooooo delicious. I devoured my 10 oz steak & cheesy mac & cheese. STK was so superb I wish I could afford to have dinner every night there. Hey, a girl can dream.

In preparation for my 26th Birthday (12/27), I decided to take a mini girls trip to DR for 6 days & 5 nights. My vacation was AMAZING!! I still can’t get off from the high. The Majestic Mirage was everything plus more. Our Butler Samuel was always there for any questions and concerns we had and even had a surprise set up in my room. We went on three excursions for the price of $139. We traveled out to Alta Gracia to ride buggies. After that, we trooped through the forest to get to a natural lake. The water was freezing I didn’t do too much swimming. The view was breathtaking.
The food on the resort wasn’t the greatest but it wasn’t bad. Everything was very Americanized which wasn’t surprising. My favorite restaurants were the hibachi and steakhouse. The resort had two foam parties which were FREAKIN’ AWESOME! Every night around 9 pm the resort’s staff would have a performance. I really felt like I was at a dedicated concert for Rock n Roll artist. About three nights during our stay we went to the resorts hottest club called Coco Disco. This whole trip was such an awesome experience, I am so blessed to have shared it with my two best friends. ❤
I definitely recommend visiting DR at least once in your lifetime. The Majestic Mirage is also an A+ hotel.

This past weekend I celebrated my friends 26th Birthday at Harlem’s “Ricardo’s Steakhouse.” I’ve been to Ricardo’s multiple times before and I always leave in total ecstasy. I decided not to be a “Regular Degular” Cardi B’s voice, and not get my usual Fettuccine Alfredo. Instead I opted for the “Ricardo’s Special Patter.” Which included a skirt steak, grilled pork chop, rice, beans, homemade mashed potatoes, and sweet plantains.
This entree was delicious and very fulling for just $26.00. I washed it down with a semi strong “Smoking Gun” for $12.00 which was made of Hennessy, orange juice, and splash of cranberry juice. I will always recommend Ricardo’s Steakhouse. I am highly pleased with the ambiance and the service, a great place for birthday dinners or a night out with Bae.
For dinner I wore a American Apparel burgundy long sleeve top, Paige denim jeans that I cut into shorts since they had a hole in them (innovative) and Public Desire thigh high peep toe boots. I accessorized my look with a chunky Aldo necklace, dollar store hoop earrings and an Urban Outfitter’s black tote.

Autumn is one of my favorite seasons. This is the season where you can really style up your looks with layering pieces and over accessorizing. Fall is also a great excuse to pull out cool weather staples like over sized cardigans and over the knee boots. I am so ready for this change of weather!!!! Here are my 4 must have items for this fall.
Stripes were very popular during the summer and they’re a great transitional piece for the fall. We’re seeing a wide variety of stripe on stripe ensembles which I am loving. Everyone should have some stripes incorporated into their wardrobe this season, whether its bold stripes or a classic pinstripe try it out this season.
River Island Blue Muscle Fit Shirt $24.00
Zara Tunic with Contrasting Stripes and Fringe $69.90
Jaded London Oversized $64.00
Who doesn’t want to give themselves a little lift in the height department and still remain comfortable. A cool play on sneaker wedges, platform sneakers gives us a flash of nostalgia while still being fashion forward.

People just can’t seem to get enough of fanny packs especially since Gucci introduced their version of them. Fanny packs are very stylish depending on how you rock it. These sporty bags are super convenient if you don’t want to carry anything on your shoulders or back. This fashionable accessory looks super cute on the fellas.
Dylan Belt Bag $19.99
ASOS Fanny Pack in Suede $40.00
FILA Logo Sling Bag $34.00
I have an infatuation with anything cropped…..except for jeans since they always look like high waters on me. Other than that my relationship with cropped items has been superb. Cropped jackets can bring that sexiness factor to a look and still have a masculine vibe as well.
BDG Denim Cropped Trucker Jacket $89.00
River Island Black Distress Denim Jacket $100.00
Mistress Rocks Black Cropped Vegan Shearling Jacket $114.00
